🚚 Relay

Relay is a logistics platform that connects you with registered delivery companies that have their own network of riders. These businesses help you fulfill orders quickly and efficiently.

📊 Relay Overview

At the top of the Relay page, you will find a summary of your logistics engagement:

• Total Logistics – The total number of delivery companies currently registered on Relay.

• Available Logistics – Companies that are currently available for connection.

• Connected Logistics – Companies your business is already connected to.

• Pending Request – The number of connection requests still awaiting a response.

📋 Logistics List

Below the summary, you'll see a list of Relay-registered businesses. For each company, the following details are displayed:

• Business Name & Address

• Number of Riders – Total riders associated with the company.

• Service Areas – Locations where the company delivers.

• Delivery Method – E.g., bike, car, or van.

• Status – Can be:

  • Available – Ready to be connected

  • Pending – Awaiting response to a connection request

  • Active – Already connected to your business

  • Inactive – The business is not accepting connections

On the far right, each row has a 3-dot menu for additional actions. The available options change depending on the status:

For Available companies:

• View Details

• Send Connection

For Pending requests:

• View Details

• Resend Connection

• Cancel Request

For Active connections:

• View Details

• Disconnect Connection

For Inactive companies:

• View Details

• Send Connection

🔍 View Details

Selecting View Details opens a detailed page for that logistics company. This page includes:

• Business Name and Address

• Send Connection button (if not yet connected)

• Tabs for:

  • Business Information:

    • Basic Details: Name, email, website (if available), number of riders.

    • Delivery Details: Base fee, fee per km, max delivery distance, service areas, delivery methods, and maximum fee.

  • Orders:

    • Displays the history of orders fulfilled by this company.

  • Activity:

    • Shows a log of recent interactions and changes related to this company.

🤝 Sending a Connection Request

To initiate a connection with a logistics company:

1. Click “Send Connection” (from the View Details page or dropdown menu).

2. A pop-up window will appear displaying the company’s delivery pricing (Base Fee, Fee Per Km, Max Distance, etc.).

3. You have two options:

   • Negotiate Price:

     • Modify the base fee and fee per km to propose new terms.

     • Click Continue to move forward, or Back to cancel.

   • Continue:

     • Proceed with the default pricing setup.

4. Select Branches:

   • Choose which of your branches should be linked to this delivery company.

   • Click Continue.

5. Choose a Payment Plan:

   • Automated – Relay handles payments on your behalf.

   • Manual – You manage payments directly.

6. Click “Send Connection” to complete the process.

🔁 Resend / Cancel / Disconnect

• Resend Connection: Re-sends the request with your selected terms if the business has not yet responded.

• Cancel Request: Withdraws your pending request.

• Disconnect Connection: Ends the partnership with an active logistics company.
