This is a full-featured customer rewards system designed to help businesses build stronger, long-term customer relationships through points, tiers, and rewards.

What It Does

Businesses can create fully customizable, point-based reward systems where:

  • Customers earn points automatically on completed orders

  • No manual enrollment is required

  • Points can be redeemed for discounts

Once enabled, the system runs automatically in the background.

Points Engine

The loyalty system includes a powerful and flexible points engine:

  • Configurable earning rules (e.g., 1 point per NGN 100 spent)

  • Welcome bonuses on first orders

  • FIFO point expiration tracking (oldest points are used first)

  • Ability to exclude specific products or categories from earning points

This allows businesses to fully control how rewards are distributed.

Redemption

Customers can redeem points for auto-generated, single-use discount codes in the format:

LOYALTY-XXXXXXXX

Redemption features include:

  • Configurable caps (e.g., maximum 50% of an order payable with points)

  • Pre-checkout validation so customers can preview their discount before placing an order

  • Automatic refund support (if an order is cancelled, redeemed points are restored)

Business Dashboard & Analytics

Businesses get full visibility and control through the loyalty dashboard:

  • Member management with tier filtering and search

  • Complete transaction history with audit trail

  • Aggregated analytics including:

    • Member statistics

    • Points in circulation

    • Liability value

    • Redemption rate

    • Tier distribution

  • Weekly points graph (earned vs redeemed, Monday–Sunday)

  • Manual point adjustments with reason tracking

This gives businesses enterprise-level insight into customer retention and reward liability.

Customer Experience

Customers can:

  • View loyalty status, current points, tier, and progress to next tier

  • Redeem points and receive discount codes

  • Access full transaction history

The individual customer page on the business dashboard has also been updated to display loyalty details.

Activation & Rollout

  • Points earning becomes active immediately once the feature is enabled by the business.

  • Points redemption on the customer end will begin next week.
