View POS activity

🧾 POS Channel

The POS Channel page gives you an overview of in-person sales activity and provides access to both the POS settings and the POS system itself.

📊 Overview

This page displays:

• 📈 A summary of sales made within a selected time period

• 📋 A list of the most recent orders made via POS

At the top right of the page, you’ll find two important buttons:

1. POS Settings

2. Visit POS

⚙️ POS Settings

Clicking the POS Settings button opens a dedicated settings panel for the POS (separate from the main Daash settings).

Here, you can configure:

• Delivery options: Choose what type of delivery methods to offer

• Fee Type: Define the pricing structure for delivery

• Delivery Fee: Enter the cost customers will pay for delivery

• Tax: Enable and set a tax percentage to apply at checkout

• Service Charge: Optionally enable a service fee with a custom percentage

POS settings can be similar to sub-website settings

✅ These settings help customize the checkout experience for your store.

🛒 Visit POS Site

Clicking the Visit POS button will redirect you to the login page of your Point-of-Sale system.

🔐 Logging In

You’ll need to log in with your credentials. They are the same login credentials as Daash.

🧾 After Logging In

Once inside the POS interface, you can:

• View all your products and categories (as configured in the Products page)

• Filter products by selecting a category

• Add items to the cart

• Search for an existing customer or add a new one

• Proceed to checkout

• Use the menu to:

  • View orders placed

  • Logout of the POS system

POS Permissions

Can Delete Held Cart

A new sub-permission called Can Delete Held Cart has been added under POS permissions.

This sub-permission allows businesses to control which staff members can delete a held cart.

Important: Existing members will not be able to delete held carts until their role is updated to include this sub-permission.
